Description
After gathering at the hotel we will take you to the village of ÄŒelopeci where the ATV / Quad tour starts. You will be greeted by experienced guides who will give you safety instructions, all the necessary equipment and a bottle of water. This is followed by a drive through the villages in the hill, a short break and ascent to MalaÅ¡tica, the highest peak of Župa dubrovaÄka (628 m). It is a hill on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina from where there is a magnificent view of the entire Župa dubrovaÄka, the Adriatic Sea, islands, the city of Cavtat ... After enjoying the panorama and untouched nature, you will return by the same route. Before returning to the starting point of this ATV/Quad tour, you will visit a nearby rural household and meet the kind hosts who will offer you local specialties (cheese, prosciutto, roasted meat under the bell ...). Lunch will be followed by a visit of the Dominican monastery in the village of ÄŒelopeci, a visit to the former hotel complex in Kupari, which was severely damaged during the Homeland War in the 1990s. You will see damaged buildings and the guide will tell you the story of the breakup of Yugoslavia, the attack of the Yugoslav People's Army on Croatia, the war in the Dubrovnik area...
This is followed by a drive to the village of Mlini. There you will have the opportunity to relax on the local beach, take a walk, have a coffee or eat something.
Later you will be welcomed by a local writer who found inspiration for his novel "The Third Key" in the history of Dubrovnik. Much of the novel takes place in Mlini, with a special emphasis on the Bettera summer villa. The author of the book will take you to the journey into the Renaissance and Baroque periods in the Dubrovnik area. He will show you the most important sites in the village, revealing their fascinating stories and legends as well as the notable figures who shaped its story. For book worms the tour is the perfect opportunity to take a deeper dive into Mezei’s novel as Mlini served as the inspiration and setting for much of his second book.
After this exciting historical tour you will return to the hotel.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended to bring comfortable clothes and shoes. During summer days sunscreen. People who drive ATV vehicle must have a driver’s license.

• 09:10 - 09:35 - start / 4 km trail through village Čelopece and Makoše (Postranje)
• 09:35 - 09:45 - short break at the water source / Martinovići – Postranje
• 09:45 –11:45- driving to hill Malaštica with short breaks and photo session
• 12:00 – arrival in local household; lunch
• 14:00 – visit of Dominican monastery in Čelopeci
• 14:30 – visit of the former hotel complex in Kupari
• 15:00 – 17:00 free time for swimming, walking, coffee...
• 17:00-18:30 – walking tour of Mlini and meeting with the author of the novel „The Third Key“
• 18:30 – return to the hotel
