City walls are one of the must-see attractions in Dubrovnik. These 2-kilometer-long walls are considered to be amongst the best-preserved fortification systems of the Middle Ages in Europe. The good news is you can walk the walls completely, alone or accompanied by a local licensed tour guide. What are the advantages of this tour?

Description
After meeting the guide at a predetermined location you will proceed to the entrance to the city walls where you will get tickets. While enjoying the magical view from above, you will have a guided walking tour where you will find out many interesting facts about the very rich history of Dubrovnik, its culture and lifestyle (in the past and present). You will see PloÄe and Pile Gate, Revelin Fortress, the Cathedral, Rector's Palace, Stradun, Orlando's Column and many more landmarks from different perspectives.
The tour of the city walls takes around 1.5 hours and afterwards you will continue this tour through Dubrovnik's narrow streets that you can't see from above.
Total duration of the tour is around 2.5 hours. The tour can be in different languages: English, German, Turkish, French, Spanish...
Please note: there is a free-of-charge public toilette on the city walls as well as several snack bars. If you get tired, you can take a short break. Also, this tour is not recommended for people with disabilities and those who are afraid of heights.
