Description
The first stop follows shortly after departure from your hotel. From the belvedere above Dubrovnik you will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos and enjoy the fascinating view of Dubrovnik Old Town, the Adriatic Sea and the nearby islands. This is followed by a drive to Konavle, more precisely to the village of ÄŒilipi. There is the famous Konavle County Museum, which exhibits women's and men's folk costumes, other textile handicrafts, jewelry, weapons and much more.
After a guided tour of the museum and a visit to the nearby historic church of St. Nicholas, there will be a tasting of fine wines and a snack at the Crvik winery. You can taste (and buy) some fine dry whites, bold dry reds, rose and desert wine. Besides, friendly and kind hosts will tell you fascinating stories about their family business and high-quality wines.
The next stops are in the coastal area of Konavle: impressive and very steep cliffs, hidden beaches, Illyrian stone pile in the village Mikulići, fishing village Molunat, ancient historical town Vitoš-grad near the present-day village called Vitaljina and Prevlaka, the southernmost peninsula of Croatia with a view of neighboring Montenegro.
Of course, food and drinks are mandatory before returning to the hotel. You will stop in Seoska kuća Novaković, a rural household in Čilipi. The gastronomic offer of Seoska kuća Novaković is very rich and it won't leave you indifferent. Fresh, locally grown products are prepared according to old recipes of Novaković Family. This includes mainly meat and vegetable dishes.
